The short film Intimate (2018) by italian director Gianmarco Formica is finally available for streaming on Vimeo! You can watch the full film here.
I had the pleasure of working with Gianmarco back in 2018, and it was one of the most beautiful collaborations I had during my first year at the Royal College of Music. Gianmarco graduated from the London Film Academy on that year and wrote the film together with Vladimir Melnikov. The story is really beautiful, touching, heart warming and… well, intimate! It moved me from the very first time I heard it and I knew right away that I really wanted to write the score for this beautiful project.
The collaboration with Gianmarco was very successful and Intimate had a glorious run in festivals all over the world, winning many awards. Not only it was a success for the whole team, but it also led to my very first award for Best Original Score as well as my first award form the other side of the ocean! The soundtrack won the Silver Award in Los Angeles at the Independent Shorts Award in October 2018. (check this out)
